Spring Getaways in Mont Tremblant

Spring has arrived. The skiing is nearly over so we await the summer but don’t disregard coming up to Mont Tremblant during these next quieter few months. Coming at this time of the year is actually ideal. You have the place to yourself! A great time to come up and enjoy a romantic dinner, relax at the spa or the pool and rejuvenate.

Here are 4 hotels that have great restaurants AND have their own pools or spas so you don’t even have to leave the premises . With spring specials, it’s worth coming up for a quick getaway. You can just relax, eat, sleep and enjoy!

At the top of the list is The Quintessence Hotel of course. This five star boutique hotel has 30 luxury suites overlooking Lac Tremblant. Their oversized whirlpool and infinity pool look straight out at the beautiful view. Later, enjoy either the Quintessence restaurant or the Winebar with a selection of over 4000 bottles in a cozy, contemporary atmosphere. We LOVE their Winebar!

The Fairmont Hotel  is right at the base of the mountain so you are just steps away if you want to take a stroll in the village. Revamped in 2017, Fairmont now offers 3 spectacular new restaurants/bar within its hotel. The Axe Lounge Bar is a great spot to start the evening with a trendy cocktail. Then enjoy either The Choux Gras, which is SOOOO beautiful in its design of a modern brasserie and delicious as well, or the Comptoir Cuisine de Marché that offers breakfast buffets or a fabulous Mediterranean or Market and Rivers Buffet depending which night you are there. They are all great! You can check them out here : http://www.lecomptoirtremblant.com/menu/

Off resort we choose either Chateau Beauvallon or The Grand Lodge. The Chateau Beauvallon has nice looking rooms, good rates and a fine restaurant offering good dishes and AMAZING sushi at their Prime Steak Sushi Bar.

The Grand Lodge has a nice sized pool and a beautiful view of Lac Ouimet. There you can enjoy a fabulous meal, well presented and quite savory at Chez Borivage Restaurant.

And last but not least, back on the resort is the Westin Hotel. Enjoy their outdoor heated pool and spa on site. Later you can head to the Gypsy Tapas Bar which actually offers snacks or tapas dishes to share along with fully main courses so you can dine right at your hotel.

Happy spring!
