6 great choices for breakfast out this summer

breakfast1The summer is always too short here in Mont Tremblant so it’s time to get out there and enjoy the outside dining. Tremblant is a big place with different areas to go to, there is the old village, as we call it, near Lac Mercier, the pedestrian village or Resort Village, the St-Jovite and surrounding areas.

Here are 6 great spots to have a summer breakfast or brunch in the cool summer air regardless what part of Tremblant you may be in. You’ll enjoy the ambiance, the terrace, and of course, the breakfast!

If you had a big night and you are HUNGRY, head to the Grand Lodge on a weekend for their buffet breakfast. It’s all there. Located between the Resort village and St. Jovite, you can enjoy your breakfast overlooking Lake Ouimet.

Le Saint Louis Restaurant in the old village of Mont Tremblant is attached to the Auberge Porte Rouge. It has a nice little terrace where you can eat overlooking Lake Mercier. On a summer saturday morning, you can also walk over to the market right after breakfast and take a look at all the fresh produce and products from local businesses. **Must try their eggs benedict. They are Awesome!!

Heading over to the Resort village you’ll find the Maison de la Crepe. All sorts of combinations are available whether you are looking for something breakfast like, sweet or savory. You’ll be right in the center of the resort.

Also on the resort is the Quintessence Restaurant situated inside the 5 star Quintessence Hotel. This is ‘the spot’ for a special occasion. Sipping a mimosa, overlooking Lac Tremblant can’t beat that!

In Saint Jovite , a popular spot is L’Arome de cafe located right in the center of town. It has a rather large terrace so you can people watch while enjoying a great breakfast with lots of homemade tasty sides like homemade jams, great ham and sausages. We LOVE their multi grain bread!

An old train stop, you can eat in the quaintest little area and enjoy breakfast surrounded by nature. Take the opportunity after breakfast to bike along the bike path outside the restaurant or better yet, kayak along the Rouge River.
