Our Favorite Resort Terraces

Kiona-1-smallSpring has arrived and we are ready to breath a fresh, warmer air. After a very long and cold
winter here in Mont Tremblant, locals, weekenders and tourists alike are looking forward to sticking their noses out for a few rays of sunshine. We don’t know about you, but we are looking forward to some terrace action and people watching all summer long.

We may have 4 seasons here in Quebec and our summers may not be super long but that doesn’t stop our restaurants from taking out the chairs and making their outdoor space available for dining and cocktails as soon as the temperature allows.

There are some fabulous terraces on and off resort that are a must to try out this summer. Here are some of our top favorite outdoor hang outs located in the Pedestrian Tremblant Village:Obviously at the top of the list is La Forge Grill and Le Shack Restaurant located in the pedestrian village of Mont Tremblant right in the center of the Place St. Bernard plaza. In the center of the action, sitting in the sun, always a favorite for many since you don’t miss a beat of the action. Make sure to get a table there during one of Tremblant’s many summer music festivals where you’ll be able to eat, drink and have the best seats in the house for the shows.

Remaining on the resort, just a little higher is the Kiona Terrace at the Fairmont Hotel. A quaint set up overlooking the mountain, this pretty terrace is only open in the summer and offers a great summer menu with BBQ items and original summer cocktails. Free valet parking is also offered if you are not already staying on resort but still want to stop in. Finally before we leave the Resort Village we have to mention The Quintessence terrace overlooking Lac Tremblant. The view is of course breathtaking and the setting is just elegant.

It’s a perfect terrace for a light lunch, romantic dinner or a special occasion. Worth treating yourselves to this extraordinary view.Stay tuned for our next article on our favorite summer outdoor terraces as we continue onto the old village of Mont Tremblant and the ville de Mont Tremblant (Ste.
