Tucked away under the main dining room of La Petite Cachée, the landmark restaurant in Mont- Tremblant’s Old Village, the private venue Roquette is a speakeasy-style space that delivers an unforgettable Chef’s Table private dining experience.
“It’s named after our most popular dish, the roquette (arugula) and pear salad,” explains Julie Zyromski, who took over as owner in 2022.
Zyromski points out a neon green arugula leaf marking the otherwise incognito entrance and slides open a hidden door to reveal an inviting decor featuring deep hunter-green walls and drapes, warm wood accents, a rustic chandelier and, of course, a fireplace. “I wanted to create the ambience of a cosy dining room in a beautiful chalet,” she says.
With a private bar at your service and seating for 10-20 seated guests – or up to 30 for a cocktail event – The Roquette room is the perfect setting for celebrating milestone moments with friends and family. The versatile space also provides AV equipment for high-level corporate meetings and presentations… with the comforts of home. Service is family-style, encouraging lively conversation as your private server and bartender cater to every need.
Chef Roberto Rodriguez fuses French culinary technique with locally-inspired dishes to create a special seasonal four-course formula offering extraordinary value at only $115 per person, with wine pairings available for an additional $50. Currently on the menu are such vibrant starters as miso oysters and chili; cold pea soup with radish and snow crab; and grilled octopus with lentils, eggplant caviar and fresh basil, followed by a dazzling main of tomahawk steak with charred vegetables.
The atmosphere extends to the outdoors with an intimate patio where string lights twinkle, lawn bowling beckons, and Muskoka chairs by the firepit invite you to savour a glass of wine under the stars.
Whether you’re closing deals or celebrating life’s most cherished moments, The Roquette room is the perfect setting to gather your favourite people and let the magic unfold.
