I hereby declare the golf season open for business! Yes, ladies and gentlemen the tremblant golf courses are officially open and there’s no shortage of golf in Tremblant, offering 6 championship courses just in the Tremblant region alone and several more in the surrounding area. Last years winter lasted well into the middle of April but regardless of this, one month later almost all of the golf courses in the region are up and running. So far, according to our local avid golfers, Le Diable golf course and La Bete are in the best shape this early in the season.
The courses might satisfy your craving for a good round but they are often quite limited in terms of dining. The reality is that if you’re looking for an after round meal at the club, you’re going to probably be stuck having a chicken salad sandwich instead of something a little more appetizing. So, for someone looking for a couple of beers after their game and a little atmosphere, they won’t find it at the golf courses in Tremblant with the exception of the private course called Le Maitre. Le Maitre has a wonderful terrace overlooking the 18th hole and does offer a full menu.
If you are looking to really dine after your round, we suggest leaving the course and heading to these locations for a little Apres Golf:
If you are heading back out of Tremblant, you can stop at Amerika Restaurant. Located right off of the 117 heading north in St. Jovite, you will find their menu quite comforting . This smokehouse specializes in BBQ, slow cooked pulled pork and they have a great fish and chips dish. A great place to have a drink and get a hardy meal!
If you are heading to the resort and want to do a little people watching and hang out in Tremblant for a bit, Casey’s, located in the pedestrian village is a great option. They offer favorable portions, great burgers and will have a large selection of beers and cocktails. A great terrace to people watch on a nice afternoon or evening or if you are a sports fan, this sports resto-bar has many televisions inside to watch your favorite game.
