For all you foodies, there is a new event that might interest you, Tremblant’s first edition of ‘Tremblant Gourmands’, the first in America. From the 19th to the 28th of September, come enjoy the festival of colors in Mont Tremblant and on the resort you will be able to enjoy a multitude of food related activities.
Tremblant Gourmands, in collaboration with the official presenter, Oikos by Danone Yogurt is hosting Mont-Tremblant’s first Gourmet event. Special chefs such as Jonathan Garnier and sushi guru, Genevieve Everell, Steven Raichlen, Antoine Sicotte and Caroline McCann will educate us and share their secrets to hopefully make us all look like hero’s in our own kitchens. There will be everything from cookie decorating, to s’more stations, to hiking/cycling and tasting trails . This event, the first of its kind, is mixing healthy living and wellness with gourmet foods and great discoveries. A great idea really.
During the week, you can participate in a walk with our local chef Frederic Baesa to find wild mushrooms and learn how to use them in different recipes, go on a Salomon run with a professional trainer or use your tickets to try some of the participating restaurants. There will be events weekdays and throughout the weekend.
Don’t miss our favourite events, a hike up the mountain! This is not just a hike. Hike up and find one of five pit stops to try different fabulous foods or products. It’s great, you work up an appetite, eat and keep going! Food mixed with physical activity, fresh air and wellness….on your way to better living!
Most of the resort restaurants will also be involved. From Friday to Sunday (19, 20, 21, 26, 27 and 28 September), certain restaurants or bars in the pedestrian village will host a 5-7 thematique menus. You can roam around the different restaurants for a drink and some appetizers. You can buy tickets for the different restaurants from $10-$50 as well, weekdays or weekends and experience exclusive menus designed for this special event and taste some of our favourite resort restaurants you may not have been to yet. Some of our favourites like Coco Pazzo, La Forge, Casey’s and Windigo will all be participating restaurants during this event. A VIP pass can be bought at identified tents on site and you can ask them about the many privileges of holding a Passport VIP pass.
For all you foodies out there, this is an event not to be missed. Lets not forget too that not only will you be tasting great foods, discovering great products but you will be able to experience it at one of the most beautiful times of the year where the mountain glistens with a multitude of vibrant colors that will take your breath away.
