Windigo BBQ Sauce Recipe- Make it yourself!

windigo-logoWhy wait until the weekend to fire up your BBQ. Our executive Sous-chef Eric Beaupré shares with you his simple homemade BBQ sauce for the best ribs ever.




  • – 75 ml Vegetable Oil
  • – 3 Garlic Cloves
  • – ½ Rivière Rouge Beer
  • – 6 Table spoons of Ketchup
  • – 3 Table spoons of Mustard
  • – 3 Table spoons of Maple Syrup
  • – 2 Table spoons of Soy Sauce

Salt and pepper to taste


1- In a pot over medium heat with oil and a pinch of salt, cook garlic until tender

2- Deglaze with Beer and let simmer for about 1 minute

3- Add the remaining ingredients, stir and reduce heat to low

4- Simmer about 30 minutes or until desired consistency
